Focused Interim Youth Ministry: InterServe Ministries can provide a congregation with an Associate to serve in a ministry position either part-time or full-time, typically up to 6 months. The Associate will serve side by side with staff (professional and volunteer), guiding the current youth ministry while working through a discovery process and planning for the future. Depending on the congregation and its goals, this might include the following: Implement current Christ-centered youth ministry programs. Assist in confirmation ministries. Encourage opportunities for closure from the previous staff person. Guide the youth committee/task force through a discovery and visionary process. Facilitate focus groups with adults and youth to discover what is working well and what may need attention. Provide training opportunities for adult volunteers. Give support in writing an attractive position description based on the vision for the congregation’s youth ministry. Focused Growth and Development Services: An InterServe Associate may also serve in a consulting role, working with the congregation through the discovery and visionary processes listed above. The Associate would not be "on staff" but would serve as an external resource for the congregation and youth. Consulting services are tailored to the congregations’ individual goals and needs.
