Sustainable Leadership Project (SLP) partners with your congregation to discover mission, empower leaders and develop ideas for ministry with young people.

The focus of Sustainable Leadership Project is to equip the congregation to serve as the primary faith builders, especially when there is not a staff person in Children, Youth and Family Ministry.

Think of it like a ‘Life Coach’ for children & youth ministry. 

The goal of this ministry is to create a structure where volunteers can best use their gifts and passions WITHIN their congregation.

This project will SUPPORT AND TRAIN the community of faith and provide helpful resources and tools for effective ministry.

How it Works

• A trained “Sustainable Leadership Project” Associate will work with your congregation 10-15 hours per month to:
• Utilize the strengths of volunteers.
• Lead an event in your congregation which will discover how to create a vital ministry for young people.
• Provide resources and ideas for effective ministry programming.
• Support and volunteers by email and phone as needed. i.e. sharing creative ideas and coaching.
